- Lead communication pipe lining trial using ePIPE
- Spencer Drive, Hampstead, North London
- Attendees from Affinity Water, Thames Water and National Grid
- Epoxy Resin injection – mechanically calibrated on-site dispensing and mixing unit ensuring consistency on a repeatable basis
- 2 No Lead communication pipes, each 10.4m long, 12mm internal diameter
- Quality control inspections carried out at both entrance and exit ends of pipe to ensure quality of preparation, lining and curing phases
Results:
- Lined in one single pass from one end only
- 2 hour cure resin
- Minimal footprint – no traffic obstruction
- No requirement to move parked vehicles
- DWI Reg 31(4)a and WRAS approved
